"I can paint normal stuff...I just don't want to."
Josie Allyson Birchall is an exciting, emerging Australian artist. She's currently a University student studying for a Bachelor's of Contemporary Art in painting.
"The right side of my brain distracts me from being logical, and encourages me to be nonsensical. I love being an artist."
Although she's young and new on the scene, she's definitely a force to be reckoned with -- here in Tasmania or anywhere, for that matter.
Now's the time to start collecting her work. The only problem being, we can't get enough of it and when we do, it flies out the door!
If you don't want to miss out, please remember to register your interest in her work and we'll contact you when new paintings arrive.
"I don't claim to try and 'change the world' with my art, but I do hope to evoke a cognitive or emotive response in the viewer."
